What does a scan actually do?
SimRanger sends AI shoppers into your live store. They browse, search, select variants, and add items to cart the way a real customer would, then report anything that felt like friction.
Does SimRanger just trust what the AI shoppers say?
No. A shopper's observation is a signal, not a verdict. We try to reproduce every suspected problem ourselves before calling it verified — if it doesn't reproduce, it stays visible as friction instead of being marked as a defect.
What happens to friction that isn’t verified?
It stays visible as friction, kept separate from verified defects. Nothing is hidden or upgraded to "defect" status without a reproduced replay.
Does SimRanger fix issues automatically?
No. SimRanger surfaces verified evidence and friction so your team can decide what to fix. It does not modify your store or theme.
Is SimRanger a monitoring tool that runs on a schedule?
No. SimRanger runs scans when you start them. Rerunning a scan lets you see whether an issue is New, Open, Fixed, or Regressed compared to previous runs.
What plans are available?
A one-time Free Scan (5 AI shopper journeys), then Starter ($49/month, 50 journeys), Growth ($99/month, 250 journeys), and Scale ($199/month, 1,000 journeys).
What platforms does SimRanger support?
SimRanger is built for Shopify storefronts, installed as a Shopify app.
